The caller further advised that she was at a home in Vinton. The Vinton Police Department says they were given information from the Sheriff's Office of a man who had reportedly abducted a woman and may have multiple weapons in his possession.

There were also reports of two small children with the couple and that the vehicle may be traveling to a residence on King Street. Vinton police were able to spot the suspect vehicle in the 400 block of King Street.

Officers say a perimeter was set up around the residence, and the suspect exited the home on the instructions of the Vinton Police Department. The suspect, identified as Bradley R. Gray, 23, the husband of the victim, was taken into custody and transported back to Bedford.

All persons inside the home, including the small children, were accounted for and unharmed.

The Bedford County Sheriff's Office has charged Gray with abduction, assault and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is currently being held without bond at the Bedford Adult Detention Center.
