ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - A fire Thursday afternoon at a Roanoke County home caused $122,300 in damages, according to Tiffany Bradbury with the Roanoke Fire-EMS Department.
The house fire was visible off of Interstate-581 around 1:00 p.m. Thursday. Fire officials said crews arrived to the house in the 2000 block of Aspen Street and found heavy flames and smoke.

The fire was reported under control by 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
Information on possible injuries were not immediately available. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
