PULASKI COUNTY (WSLS 10) - A Pulaski County woman charged with child neglect in the death of her 5-month-old son was sentenced to 10 years in prison in Circuit Court on Monday.

Samantha Taylor, also known as Samantha Warden, 31, will serve 7 years of the 10-year sentence, court officials say.

Police arrested Taylor in February 2014, a couple of weeks after Cory Cole's body was found in a rural area of Draper.

The 5-month-old was found dead in the woods in the Draper area of Pulaski on January 30, 2014.

Cole's father, Howard Cole, remains in jail on multiple charges, including capital murder and illegal disposal of a body. Cole faces life in prison without parole or the death penalty for the capital murder charge.

He also faces one to five years in prison for the illegal disposal of a body charge.
