DOWNTOWN ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Charges have been dropped against a downtown Roanoke eatery after the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control launched an investigation in April, 2014.

Charges were dropped Monday related to an alleged striptease performance at 202 Market, now known as Stefano's on the Market.

The law office of John Edwards represents the business and confirmed charges - restaurant had allowed striptease acts on the licensed premises and allowed entertainers connected with the licensed business to appear nude or partially nude - were dropped.

In April, 2014, the ABC said an anonymous complaint came in alleging that 202 Market was hosting a group of male strippers from Las Vegas. During investigation by the ABC, an ABC agent said he spoke to a reliable source who confirmed strippers were at 202 on March 28, 2014.
