HENRY COUNTY (WSLS 10) - A Spencer, Va. woman died in an accident on Route 58 Tuesday.
Virginia State Police Trooper J. N. Mabe was investigating the fatal crash. It happened at 12:17 p.m. on Route 58 at the intersection of Route 1701 (Sedgefield Drive).

Kathleen F. Turner, 75, was driving a 1988 Ford Ranger north on Route 1701. State police said she pulled into the path of a 2001 International dump truck traveling west on Route 58.
Turner was wearing her seat belt. She died at the scene. The driver of the International was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
