CHARLESTON, SC (WSLS 10) - Alleged Charleston church shooter Dylann Roof is expected in court on Thursday.
The hearing is being held to determine whether documents in the case will be released to the media.
The 21-year-old is accused of shooting and killing nine people in a South Carolina church last month. Roof faces nine counts of murder, three counts of attempted murder, and a weapons charge.
The judge said his right to a fair trial could be in jeopardy because of pretrial publicity.
Roof will also be presented with the indictments in the case.
