LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - A 55-year-old man was arrested and charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography Thursday.
The Lynchburg Police Department said officers arrested Joel Hailey, of Lynchburg, on July 16 and charged him with 10 counts of possession of child pornography after finding evidence in his home.

The Lynchburg Police Department's Forensics Unit said the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force provided it with information about online sharing of child pornography at an apartment in the 1100 block of Wise Street.
Officers executed a search warrant at the address July 2 and found electronic evidence, including computers and cell phones, which were examined by detectives with the Lynchburg Police Department's Forensics Unit.
