WISH – Less than a week after he was attacked by a shark on live TV, pro-surfer Mick Fanning was back in the water.

Over the weekend, Fanning posted a photo to his Instagram page saying, in part, "First surf back. Feels so good."

Just days before, Fanning was competing in the JBay Open in Jeffrey's Bay in South Africa when a shark's fins appeared on camera and he disappeared underwater.

Fanning swam to safety before crews pulled him out. He was unharmed, but visibly shaken. He posted a photo of himself hugging one of the people who came to his aid.
