AMHERST COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Following several instances during which tractor trailers have become stuck and/or lost their loads, VDOT says all trucks over 40 feet in length will be prohibited from Route 617, Poorhouse Road in Amherst County.
VDOT has determined through an engineering study that trucks using this roadway are not in the best interest of the general public.
