BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) - The town of Blacksburg is raising money to build what will be the only mountain biking skills park in southwest Virginia.

The town is teaming up with the non-profit Friends of the Huckleberry Trail to raise $20,000 to build the park.

The project will cost a total of rest of $300,000 which will be funded through grants and services.

The park will be located at the base of Jefferson National Forest, and will be built in two phases.

The first phase will offer more than 3,500 feet of trails.
