WASHINGTON COUNTY (WSLS 10) - An escaped inmate is back in police custody Monday evening after an all day manhunt.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office said Mitch D. Warner escaped from the Abingdon Facility of the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Monday morning. Warner was found hiding in a barn in the 28000 block of Rich Valley Rd. in Washington Co. around 8:45 p.m.

He was originally being held on four felony burglary charges and three grand larceny charges among others. Additional charges are now pending.
