ROANOKE (WSLS 10) -- Carilion Clinic has purchased the Shenandoah Life property at 2301 Brambleton Avenue in Roanoke.
Plans for the building have not yet been determined, but Carilion is exploring alternatives that would free up clinical space.

"Carilion continues to grow to meet the health care needs of our community," said Curtis Mills, senior vice president of facilities and properties at Carilion Clinic. "As our services expand – and as demand for our services expands – the need for additional space is ever present."
The Shenandoah Life building went up for sale in April.
Carilion is partnering with Shenandoah Life to ensure the company will be able to occupy its current office space for up to a year while plans are finalized for relocating Shenandoah Life's operations to another location in Roanoke. Shenandoah Life, and its parent company, Prosperity Life Insurance Group, LLC, are currently evaluating several spaces.
