DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - Two more teenagers are charged in the death of a man who was shot in his driveway back in June.

Petitions for felony homicide, breaking and entering and petit larceny were issued on Tuesday, August 11 against Maurice Anthony Williams, Jr., 17, and Kadarius Kipree Ferrell, 18, for the death of Benny Wesley Sigmon.

Both teens were arrested without incident. Williams is being held at the W.W. Moore, Jr. Juvenile Detention Home. Ferrell is being held in the Danville City Jail without bond.

Another suspect, identified as Evin Javahn Shaw, 18, of Danville, Va., was arrested on June 10th and charged with first-degree murder.

Investigators say Sigmon went outside to confront Shaw, Williams and Ferrell who were trespassing on his Rocklawn Place property around 4:20 a.m. on Thursday, June 4. He was shot multiple times in his driveway and died at the Danville Regional Medical Center.

Authorities say their investigation revealed the three suspects had burglarized another home on the same street around the time of the shooting.

Pursuant to Virginia State Code 16.1-301, the juvenile arrest information was released for this particular incident due to the seriousness of the offense and age of the defendants at the time of the offense.
