Two caught red-handed breaking into Danville home
DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - One person is in custody and charges are pending against another after Danville police say the two were caught red-handed breaking into a local home.
The incident happened at approximately 9:34 p.m. Monday, August 17 at the C building at Purdum Woods, located at 1575 Richmond Blvd.
Upon arrival, officers found Telvis Marquise Carter, 20, and a 14-year-old male, both from Danville,Va., located in the apartment complex.
Carter was charged with B&E and grand larceny. The 14-year-old, whose name will not be released because of his age, was released to his parents.
Police say charges are pending.
The victim reported a 32" TV, Samsung cell phone and a XBOX-360 game system missing. Entry was gained by breaking a back window glass, police say.
