BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) - Blacksburg will get a lot busier starting Wednesday as students begin moving in to the dorms.
Campus is expected to be even busier than normal as Virginia Tech is welcoming it's largest freshman class ever.

Spokesperson Mark Owczarski said there will be about 6,400 freshman students this year. The class is significantly larger than classes of years past.
Average incoming classes range from 5,900 to 6,000 students.
Wednesday is expected to be the busiest day for move in. Normally about half of residential students move in on the first day. Move in will run through Saturday.
Classes begin on Monday, August 24, 2015.
