RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia State Police have announced funeral arrangements for a trooper who died in the line of duty.
Trooper Nathan-Michael W. Smith, 27, of Henrico was killed Monday when his car crashed as he was responding to an accident in Dinwiddie County.

The driver involved in the first accident, 65-year-old Donald W. Shaw of Montgomery, Louisiana, also was killed.
State police say a visitation for Smith is set for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at St. Paul's Baptist Church in Henrico.
Funeral services will be at the church at 2 p.m. Saturday.
