Meeting scheduled for Pittsylvania residents to address Pipeline concerns
PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY (WSLS 10) - A community meeting is scheduled this month for anyone who may have questions and/or concerns about the proposed Mountain Valley Pipeline.
The informational meeting will be held next Tuesday, October 13 at 6:00 p.m. at the Chatham Library Community Room located at 24 Military Dr.
Organizers say Pittsylvania County is a crucial part of the picture regarding the proposed MPV.
The current proposal states Transco Station 165, located near Chatham in Pittsylvania County, as the end point for the current route.
Organizers say the meeting will include an overview of the MVP proposal, air and water quality concerns, and how residents may take action.
