Roanoke surplus snatched up in 30 minutes
ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - If you were looking to score items in the Roanoke City surplus sale - you're too late.
The sale kicked off at 9 a.m. Friday and by the time it started - organizers say people were already lined up down the street.
Within about 30 minutes most of the items were gone.
The surplus property was offered to the public at no cost.
The sale was originally set to run until 3 p.m. Friday.
