MARTINSVILLE (WSLS 10) - NASCAR returns to Martinsville Speedway for its second race of 2015, and some die hard fans were already on-site, camping out the Monday before.

The Speedway expects around 60,000 guests for its second race of the season, and when they get there, they can expect a new dining and shopping experience in the Fanatic Tent.

Track President Clay Campbell explained, "In the past, with the souvenir trailers, you walk up to the trailer and you wait for somebody to wait on you and you point at something. Here, you can go in, you can pick up a coat or a shirt off the rack, try it on, put it back, so it's a really neat experience."

The track also changed its signature hot dogs earlier in 2015, but Campbell says, if you haven't tried the new Martinsville hot dog yet, not to worry.

"It's still the famous Martinsville Speedway hot dog. We didn't mess with the integrity of that. We wouldn't, we're not that crazy," Campbell said.

Some fans who traveled all the way from Canada agreed, and if one couple they saw at the spring races is any indicator, the dogs are still as popular as ever.

"They bought 25 each, in 2 bags of hot dogs. 25 for him and 25 for her. He gave a few of his away, she didn't give any away. She ate the whole damn bunch," said NASCAR fan Jim Gardener.

Apart from the changes, fans say the race falls on the perfect days of fall - October 31 and November 1.

"This year will be even more special because Halloween is on Saturday, so we're just looking to have a lot of fun with it," said Diane Lund.

After Martinsville, NASCAR fans have three more in the Chase for the Sprint Cup, leading up to the final race at the Homestead-Miami speedway on November 22.
