ROANOKE (WSLS10) - Hollins University professor of political science weighs in the terror attacks in Paris. Lynch has experience in Washington D.C. working for the former chair of the senate subcommittee on terrorism.

Lynch says that it comes as no surprise to find out the attacks were made by Isis. He says however, the severity of the attacks come as a surprise to the U.S. government and the American people and shows just how strong the terrorist group has become.

Police officials have confirmed finding a Syrian Passport on the body of one suicide bomber at Paris Stadium. French President Francois Hollande says the attacks on Friday killing 127 people were "An act of war."

Lynch says the passport does suggest that the terrorists could have entered France along with Syrian refugees. No official word has yet been given.
