BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) - The Marching Virginians and New Life Christian Fellowship will join forces again this year to sponsor a massive canned food drive in conjunction with the Virginia Tech vs. North Carolina football game Nov. 21.

The goal of the 19th annual Hokies for the Hungry drive is to collect 66,233 cans of food, or one can from every fan.

Drop-off points for donated food will be set up at all entrances to Lane Stadium and various locations near the stadium where tailgate pep Bands will be performing before kick-off.

All contributions will be distributed through the Montgomery County Christmas Store.
