ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Business owners in downtown Roanoke are on edge about recent crimes in the Star City.

The owner of Bohemian Robot Media Group said he's concerned after a stabbing and a robbery in the area.

He said the recent events have people worried about their safety.

"I can't walk from First to Market without being stopped multiple times for change or for money. If I were with my family that would be intimidating," Mike Wilson, a business owner said.
