PRETORIA, South Africa (AP) - Olympic runner Oscar Pistorius will remain under house arrest pending his sentencing for his murder conviction. A South African judge granted him bail today.
Last week, the country's Supreme Court of Appeal convicted Pistorius of murdering girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in 2013, overturning a lower court's conviction of the lesser crime of manslaughter.
The appeals court then said the double-amputee Olympian should be sentenced by the lower court.
His sentencing hearing is set for April 18.
