Man accused in stabbing arrested by Lynchburg police

LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - Police arrested a man who they believe is connected to the stabbing of a Lynchburg man.

Lynchburg police arrested 22-year-old Byron Monroe Edwards of Lynchburg. Edwards was wanted in Lynchburg for malicious wounding.

The Lynchburg Police Department said officers went to Lynchburg General Hospital ER after 21-year-old Clifton Taylor was brought in with multiple stab wounds. Taylor's injuries were not life-threatening and he was treated and released.

Officers said they think the stabbing happened at 2315 Yorktown Avenue in Lynchburg.
