f Franklin County' provides Christmas presents to about 1,500 children each year.
This year, the non-profit organization is helping 300 less. The organization attributes the drop to families being more financially stable compared to previous years.
'We care of Franklin County' also helps families financially by paying utility bills or even medical bills for a child who is chronically sick.
"It's a way to give back to those people who give to us," said event organizer Teresa Tyree. "A lot of people that actually have supplied all of these toys are here today, you know, they were not always on top either."
Their mission is that no child goes without Christmas. The non-profit organization will be excepting donated items until Christmas.
