RICHMOND (WSLS 10) - At 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Attorney General Mark R. Herring will discuss the results of an extensive audit and update of the states whose concealed handgun permits are currently considered valid within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
In order for another state's concealed handgun permit to be recognized as valid by the Commonwealth of Virginia, that state's laws must be "adequate to prevent possession of a permit or license by persons who would be denied a permit in the Commonwealth."
