ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Fashions for Evergreens may reach record fundraising for United Way of Roanoke Valley.
According to United Way, it raised about $5,600 and is expected to raise more money than in years past.

The trees will come down in the next couple of days.
Hotel Roanoke says the trees are a big attraction during the holiday season.
"This has really turned into a massive attraction for us each year through the holidays," said Michael Quonce, Hotel Roanoke. "Dickens of a Christmas is a great event downtown and we've been doing this for about 15 years. Between the two events it's a great way to celebrate the holidays and the downtown Roanoke area."
