LYNCHBURG (WSLS)-- A Lynchburg man is dead after being hit by a train Tuesday night.
Officers were called to the scene just after 10:15 p.m. Lynchburg Police say the accident happened along the tracks between Logans Lane and Graves Mill Road.

The man has been identified as 37-year-old Michael Glenn Rawlins. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say no foul play is suspected. The case remains under investigation.
