ROANOKE (WSLS10) - Roanoke County is seeking community input to create a five-year strategic plan. Topics including health care, economic development, education, public safety, and transportation will be discussed over the next several months.
We are told the plan will help address needs, set goals, and create relations with the community.
"A lot of this is also public input," said Assistant Roanoke County Administrator Dan O'Donnell. "We're trying to get the community members to be involved. We're going to be establishing focus groups for different areas of concerns."
You can get involved by providing your feedback online or getting involved in a focus group.
County leaders will come up with a plan of action by the end of the summer.
