Rescue pit bulls act as 'surrogate moms' to 3 blind kittens
(WSLS 10) - True friendship between animals is an unconditional bond that knows no difference in species.
These kittens and their pit bull parents are living proof of that.
The three felines were rescued by Faithful Friends Society Animal Shelter in Delaware.
They had to have their eyes removed due to serious health issues and were having trouble adjusting. So one of the shelter volunteers took them home to live with her two rescue pit bulls.
The dogs have been nurturing the cats, acting almost as surrogate mothers.
In fact, one of the kitten, feels so comfortable that he naps on their back.
