Report: British actor Alan Rickman dies at 69

WISH – LONDON (WISH) — Alan Rickman, the British actor famous for his roles in "Harry Potter" and "Love Actually," has died. He was 69 years old.

BBC and The Guardian first reported about Rickman's death Thursday morning. His death was confirmed by his family.

Rickman had been suffering from cancer.
