Second defendant charged in connection to death of Moneta man pleads guilty

FRANKLIN CO. (WSLS 10) A woman charged in connection to the death of a Moneta man pleaded guilty to three charges in court Thursday.

According to the Franklin County Commonwealth's Attorney, Carrie Ramey pleaded guilty to grand larceny of vehicle, statutory burglary, and accessory after the fact in the murder of Brian Foy.

The Commonwealth's Attorney said Ramey could testify against her co-defendants if necessary, as well as, give investigators information that could lead them to the location of the murder weapon.

Sentencing for Ramey has been set for March 14.

The guilty pleas come one day after Daniel Arnot entered a plea deal for the murder of Foy. Arnot plead guilty to first degree murder, grand larceny of a firearm, and statutory burglary among other charges. Arnot was sentenced to two life terms plus 145 years and 12 months under the plea agreement.
