MIDDLESEX COUNTY, Va. (WSLS 10) - An investigation is underway after a deadly plane crash in Middlesex County.
State police say a witness reported seeing the plane go down Thursday afternoon.

Crews later found the aircraft about a mile into the woods off Route 33.
Emergency crews had to use ATVs and chainsaws to get to the wreckage.
No word on the identity of the pilot or what caused the crash.
