ROANOKE (WSLS10) - The Berglund Center opened its doors Sunday for its 9th Annual Greater Virginia Bridal Show of Roanoke. More than 80 vendors offering items from venues, to florist, to catering, wedding cakes and DJ's attracted a crowd of more than 1,000 people.
The show coordinator said on average weddings cost about $30,000. Many brides were able to plan their entire wedding here, because many vendors offered specials discounts.

"We've been planning this event since October," said Angeline Frame, bridal show producer. "And of course, this is the fruition. It all comes together. This is one day. Everybody comes out here and they spend the whole afternoon from one to five. They talk to these vendors and find out what they offer."
Even one lucky bride will win a $35,000 wedding including everything from the dress to the honeymoon!
