LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) -- A Lynchburg man has been arrested and charged with one count of distribution of child pornography and 10 counts of possession of child pornography.
The Lynchburg Police Department's Forensic Unit, an affiliate member of the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, conducted the investigation.

It began this month when investigators discovered online sharing of child pornography at a home in the 900 block of Floyd Street. Authorities obtained a search warrant and seized evidence from the apartment on January 28. Detectives performed a digital forensic examination on the evidence and arrested Clifton Trent, 41, of Lynchburg. He's charged with distribution and possession of child pornography.
