ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - While many are still working to keep New Year's Resolutions, a Roanoke business is hoping folks will have a ton of fun losing a ton of weight.

At the start of 2016 Fleet Feet launched a new year long program called "Ton of Fun."

During the week, the store fits customers with running gear, but on Saturday mornings more than a hundred people fill the space to learn about healthy eating and exercise.

Four weeks in, 105 participants lost a total 488 pounds.

"It's just been really cool to see how they have bonded and how they're working together as a group. They're doing this individually for themselves, but group aspect of it has just been really fun," said Blaine Lewis, Fleet Feet owner.

If you're interested in a "Ton of Fun" you can still join in.

Meetings are Saturday morning at 9:30 at Fleet Feet on Route 220.
