Free golf lessons for veterans

ROANOKE (WSLS10) - The PGA is teaming up with the Department of Veterans for a program to help disabled veterans and injured service members.

It's called PGA HOPE.

Veterans get free golf lessons with a local PGA professional.

After those lessons, the veterans then get invited to take part in weekly golf outings with other vets.

It's meant to be therapeutic - giving veterans with both visible and invisible wounds a chance to spend to time and share stories with each other.
