Two Salem adults charged after teens found drinking

SALEM (WSLS 10) - Two adults face charges for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

According to Salem Police, the charges stem from a January 10th investigation in the 1000 block of Stonegate Drive. Officers responded to a report of underage drinking.

Police say, a young girl told officers that she and several other juveniles were drinking alcohol provided by adults at the residence.

When officers arrived, they say, they spoke with two adults and several teenagers between the ages of 15 and 17 years old. Officers also found various alcoholic beverage contains inside the home and determined the teens had consumed alcohol while inside the residence.

51-year-old Alan Criss and 46-year-old Jill Schroeder were both charged with five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The five teens were also charged with underage possession of alcohol.
