RECALL: Bumble Bee Foods warns customers about tuna concerns

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) -  Bumble Bee Foods issued a nationwide recall of more than 31,000 cases of its tuna.

The recall involves 5 ounce canned chunk light tuna in water and chunk light tuna in vegetable oil. It was produced in February.

The company says the tuna could be spoiled or have other pathogens, which could lead to life-threatening illness. So far, no illnesses have been reported.

Anyone who has bought or eaten the product is asked to call the company at (888) 820-1947.
