Last year, over $1,700 worth of equipment was stolen from the garden.

Specialize Saw and Mower donated a mower and 20 college students from Maryland and Massachusetts helped build new garden boxes.

"I'm feeling wonderful to see everyone come out together and it was beautiful weather and we have this great opportunity and to see everybody just come out and come together," said Stephanie Hoer, Goodwill Industries.

Goodwill also received a generator and water pump for the garden.
