INDEPENDENCE (WSLS10) - On Saturday, people in Grayson County participated in the "Bid for a Cure" auction. Participants had the chance to bid on sports memorabilia and items like toys and vacation packages. Proceeds from the event go toward to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Susan Haga, an organizer of the event, said the cause hits close to home for her. She has two children who have the disease. They hope to help find a cure and are glad for the community's support.
