Discussion about files in Hope Perdue case to continue in April
FRANKLIN COUNTY (WSLS 10) - The prosecution in the Hope Perdue case is requesting files from the Department of Social Services be released.
According to Franklin County Commonwealth's Attorney, A.J. Dudley, Perdue's lawyers asked the judge not to require the department to turn over the documents to the court.
Both sides discussed the issue in court Wednesday, however the matter was tabled until April 13.
Perdue is charged with first-degree murder and felony child abuse in the death of three-year-old Callen Mullins.
The child was in her care when he was found unresponsive by emergency crews in May 2015.
Search warrants say Mullins died from blunt force trauma.
