ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - The city of Roanoke, Hollins Theatre Institute and Mill Mountain Theatre are ready for a big event this fall.

It's called Starcropolis and the live-theater event will be held on top of Mill Mountain.

Actors will tell fictional and non-fictional stories about the star.

Organizers say they've been planning this for years.

"We're excited we're able to create an event at the star on top of Mill Mountain called Starcropolis where we can celebrate theater and invite the community and the star and just be together," said Ernie Zulia, the director of the Hollins Institute.

The event will be held on Labor Day weekend on September 4.
