For Democrats: Sanders needs to meet expectations

For the last few weeks running up to today's votes, Sen. Bernie Sanders has been polling ahead of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton but often only within a few points. If Sen. Sanders is able to pull out a strong win, by at least five percent or more, it could provide much needed momentum heading into New York's April 19 primary.
The two remaining Democratic candidates have agreed to a debate on April 14 after several weeks without any joint appearances. The mid-April debate will take place in Brooklyn and air on CNN.
For Republicans: Cruz hopes to knock Kasich out, take Trump head on
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is extending his attacks against Ohio Gov. John Kasich in an attempt to drive the former congressman and sitting governor out of the race. Polls suggest Sen. Cruz could win Wisconsin's primary by a wide margin and help keep Donald Trump's campaign from portraying himself as the likely nominee.
The latest GOP delegate count shows Donald Trump with a commanding lead but still not close to having enough delegates co capture the nomination.
