Angels took care of Pistol Pete while the man was admitted to the hospital.

Staff members say, they couldn't help but capture and share their sweet reunion.

"Before I even hit the waiting room you could hear the screams from Pistol Pete, jumping up in his lap." Kristel Brizendine explained. "I looked out there and he was nibbling on his ear, kissing him all over his face and dad was just in tears as well, so it was the most joyous happiest reunion I had ever seen."

Unfortunately, Pistol Pete ended up back in the care of Angels of Assisi for a second time after his owner was readmitted to the hospital.
