State Police investigate deadly crash in Campbell Co.

CAMPBELL CO. (WSLS 10) - State Police are investigating a deadly crash in Campbell County. According to police, it happened Friday at 5:25 a.m. on Route 460, less than a mile west of Route 662.

Police say a 2011 Kia was traveling east on Route 460 when it ran off the left side of the road, hit an embankment and flipped.

The driver, Ashley Inesta, 25, of Coleman Falls, was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Inesta was wearing a seatbelt.

The passenger, Bobby Mosley Jr., 32, of Forest, was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected. He died at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
