ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Angels of Assisi received a $125,000 check to help further its impact in our community.
The PetCo foundation offered up the grant during a presentation at the grand opening for PetCo's new Towne Square location Saturday morning.

The money will help pay for a new, 26-foot animal transport truck.
The mobile outreach will offer adoption services across the area and serve low-income neighborhoods.
The truck will also provide transportation for spay and neuter services as part of the "Pets for Life Program."
Angels of Assisi will have dogs and cats up for adoption outside the new PetCo location from noon until 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
