Roanoke women recalls meeting legendary singer Prince

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - New information about the death of legendary singer Prince was released on Friday. The medical examiner's office said there were no obvious signs of trauma on his body when he was found unresponsive. The medical examiner also said suicide is not suspected. People across the world continue to mourn the loss of the music legend.

Roanoke resident Ginger Poole said she and her friend met Prince in the early 90s. She said they met the singer while at a nightclub called Tripp's in Los Angeles. According to Poole, Prince dated her friend Allana. Poole said she had a chance to hang out with the couple several times. Poole said she remembers Prince as being a shy yet humorous man.

Poole said Prince dated her friend for about two years, on and off. She said he enjoyed playing basketball and cooking.
