Honaker is the winner of the Shelor Motor Mile Growing the Future Community Partnership Car Giveaway. She bought her ticket from Falling Branch Elementary School.

"I am still in shock that I won the car," said Honaker. "I want to thank God for this blessing."
The second and third place winners took home more than $1,000 worth of gifts during the giveaway celebration that ran in conjunction with the Virginia Tech vs. Radford University baseball game at Calfee Park. The prizes included gift cards and tickets to Pulaski Yankees games and Motor Mile Speedway.
"We have been able to provide for many events with the Growing the Future program," Dublin Middle School principal, Adam Joyce said. "This money helps with field trips, equipment and other student needs throughout the year."
Area elementary, middle, and high schools sold more than 60,000 tickets for a dollar each. 100 percent of the proceeds go to the schools.
Shelor Motor Mile plans to hold another car giveaway in the fall.
