25-year-old charged with murder after Roanoke shooting

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Roanoke City police have made an arrest in connection to Saturday's fatal shooting.

Adrian Tremaine Simmons, 25, of Roanoke, is charged with the murder of Kendall Wallace.

At 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Centre Avenue NW and took Simmons into custody.

He was taken into custody without incident.

The suspect is currently in Roanoke City Jail.

The U.S. Marshals Task Force assisted in the apprehension of Simmons.

This investigation remains ongoing.
